John Davis (UN)

John Davis was the fourth Director and first Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East from 1959 to 1963. Davis had been U.S. assistant secretary of agriculture in the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration.[1]
